I want those seats!
I was watching the US Women's Soccer during the Olympics this morning and a United Airlines commercial came on. This is what it was about.
Crazy huh? Check out more information here if you're interested.

Updates
Ok, I haven't blogged in awhile so I'm just gonna post a bunch of pictures right now and try and get back into blogging at some point.
Pardon the red eyes, I don't have time to work on that right now
Friend's Birthday Party
Our friend, Kalpana, was having a birthday party for her son, Kaneya, at the playground a few weeks ago. It was a lot of fun... and soooo hot. Here are just some random pics from that event.
Kaneya, the birthday boy - cutie
dinosaur cupcakes

Ava sneezing - ha!

My girls (btw, they dressed alike on their own)
Haircuts
I decided I was really sick of Maddy's hair having knots so we went and chopped it off. She wanted to have it cut as short as Kenzie's so I was all for it. With her starting kindergarten soon, I thought it was a good time for it too. I love it and I'm so glad we did it.
And yes, yes I know... they look so much more alike.
We get the twins comment even more now.

2 Crafty Mamas
Today, as a lot of you probably know, was 'Dress like a cow, get a free meal' day at Chik-fil-A. Casey & I made our kids' cow costumes all by ourselves.
We painted the cow markings on white t-shirts. We printed out ears and tails and attached them to pipe cleaners. We had bells that we strung onto pipe cleaners and around their necks for cowbells. We also traced Chik-fil-A's logo to the back of the shirts. Casey has more patience - and more need for perfection :) so she colored her logo in.
We took pictures of all the kids together with Casey's camera at her house before we went and as soon as I get those I will post them. For now, here are some that I took with my camera phone while at Chik-fil-A and that I took of M & K with my camera when we got home.

Dollar Tree = Incentive
So I am really get tired of having to sleep in one position all night night long, in my own bed, because on one side of me there's a 4 year old and on the other, a 5 year old. They start out in their own bed, not a problem at all. But then around 1, 2, 3 or 4 a.m. one or both of them crawl into bed with me. Maddy is not very restful sleeper at all & no matter how much I try and move her back the side of the bed she still migrates right up to me.
So last night when I got home from work (we had a 1st birthday party for the consignment store & worked from 2-9) I went up to kiss them goodnight - because they heard the garage door and were banging on their bedroom window trying to get my attention. I told them that they really needed to stay in their bed all night and if they did we would go to the Dollar Store after VBS and they can pick out whatever they wanted. It worked! M came in at one point (1 a.m. or something) and asked if it was time to get up - HA! Then she asked if I could come tuck her in. After that, I didn't hear a peep!
Night One - SUCCESS!
M - a Kit Kat bar
K - a flower pen
Kenzie-ism
Today was the first day of Vacation Bible School (VBS). It's such a great thing: they go outside, they get wet, they learn songs, they do all sorts of activities.
Kenzie: "Mom, today when I was doing my crap..."
Me & Maddy: laughing uncontrollably
Kenzie: "What?"
she meant craft

Freckles.... more and more every day!
Brick O Cheese
Laziest Puppy Ever
Dakota is the dog that we were sitting for a few days. She is so sweet, she's cute, but man is she one lazy dog. These pictures pretty much portray what she did the whole weekend she was with us. (FYI, I believe she's only like 2 or 3 years old)

Great day with my girls
Yesterday the girls and I had a really fun day. In the morning we went to a movie (free movies in the summer at the movie theater up the street) to see "Everyone's Hero." It was really cute. They were so good. Then we went to our pool with my friend Casey and her 2 kids, Kailey and Caleb, for a couple hours. Then we went to the gym (they have great childcare and play area for the kids). After that I took the girls to McDonald's so we could get a cheap dinner and they could play a little more. Needless to say, they sleep really well last night - as did I! I was so tired I could only stay awake for the 1st half of the NBA Finals - GO Celtics!
Here's some pics from the McD's Play Place... (they're from my phone so the quality isn't that good)
