This morning I had to bring Peter to work for 9 am (his registration on his car is not renewed yet) then get my haircut at 10 am. In between, Madison got sick halfway home and threw up all over herself and her carseat. I had to pull over and make sure she wasn't choking. Luckily, there was a blanket in the car that I sort of wiped her off with but left draped over her. When we got home it was about 9:15 or so. I had to get her out of the car, strip her out of her clothes, give her a quick bath, get her dressed, then clean up the mess. Any other day I would have taken the carseat out of the car and cleaned it thoroughly but not today. I had to wipe it all down *gross* and put a towel under her while she sat in the seat and then put another towel over her before fastening the buckles, because of course, they got covered as well. And I still made it to my hair appointment a few minutes early. Don't worry, I did clean the car seat when we got home.
They should really make carseat covers easier to take on and off in order for you to clean them. Does anyone out there know how hard that is to do? Especially when your 3 year-old throws up all over it? It actually involves a screwdriver. Crazy!
Wrapping up.
