I was certain it was Sunday. I have to work on Sunday morning, so I got up, showered and started getting dressed. Then it struck me... "Wait a minute, I went to the movies with mom last night, and that was a Friday. So today must be SATURDAY!" I don't have to work until tomorrow. DAMN! And it figures because everyone in the house is still asleep. This wouldn't happen on a weekday, that's for sure. Maddy would be up and practically pulling me out of bed between 7 & 8.
Oh well, now I get to drink my morning coffee in peace! (I'll let you know if that really happens)
Wrapping up.

At first I was like, "Oh, that STINKS." Getting up early for nothing! Nothing could be worse in my book.
But then as I continued to read and noted that it was 8:13 and everyone in your house was STILL asleep I thought "That is SO unfair! She is DUE for an early morning if her kids don't wake up until 7 or 8 usually!" My kids are up before the sun lately and it's killing me. Seriously, in my evening prayers I actually PRAY that they will sleep "all the way through the night until EIGHT in the morning!" That hasn't happened in ages over here. Enjoy tomorrow's "sleep-in" over there on my behalf, would ya? :-) (So now there's only a half-dose of sympathy for you instead of the original full dose.)
But you have to realize that it's usually 10 or 11pm before one or both kids are in bed at night. AND it took Kenzie about 18 months to finally sleep through the night. So if the girls don't wake up til 8 or 9, they still only got about 10 hours of sleep or so and that leaves for some crankiness the next day. So.... don't think I have it too easy :-)
OOOOhhhhh. 10 or 11?!?! Ouch. OK, you are back up to a full-dose of sympathy, girl!
Thank you! I definitely am glad however that they don't wake up as early as other kids though because I wouldn't be able to handle it. I don't think my body could handle more coffee!
