These pictures are from our trip up North this past summer. Liz lives in Hingham, MA and had her first child in May - Cameron. She was on bedrest for most of her pregnancy so little Cam is certainly a miracle! Isn't he absolutely adorable?!! Liz and I worked together at Fitzgerald Communications in Cambridge, MA, starting in 1996 and we hit it off right from the start. WOW... 9 years Liz! She is the type of friend that is always there to listen or give advice when you need it. We have always lived pretty far away from each other so in the past few years we have only seen each other a few times yet we're still so close. The internet has been our saving grace. We can go 2 or 3 weeks without communicating but when we reconnect it's as if we just spoke the day before. I miss you Lizzie!

Two things I've noticed can create/maintain friendships despite distance or past issues: the internet, and being Moms. I'm actually blessed to have connected with YOU, Di, through both ways. Glad to have you as a new friend. PS... Glad you're back on the blog... missed ya!
