We went to Lawrenceville, GA for New Year's Eve. They were having a family-friendly, alcohol-free New Year's Eve event, called Lawrenceville Rings. It was located in historic, downtown Lawrenceville - nothing was open but I definitely would like to go back sometime when the stores are open. The night was a bit chilly, and the girls were just starting to come down with colds and we really didn't do much but walk around, Maddy didn't even want to go into the bouncy houses or anything. That was fine with us though, and it was a nice night. We were home by 10 and asleep by 11pm. ahhhh... parenthood...
Oh yeah, we got funnel cake too, and Peter and I realized that was the first time either of us had funnel cake. We both thought it was going to be the same as fried dough (you know from Hampton Beach) but it's thicker, sweeter and soooo much greasier!
