Where's the PEACE?

Ya know, it's so darn peaceful when one of my children is sleeping. Earlier, Kenzie was taking a nap and Maddy and I were outside playing (it was in the 70s by the way) and she was so great. We went across the street and visited a neighbor, she was even good in her house. Then not a little while ago, Maddy fell asleep and Kenzie and I were hanging out together, and again... I had an angel of a child!

THEN THE MADNESS BEGINS... They're both awake and all hell breaks loose! (and they're not acting like angels anymore, they're more like, well... you know)

Anyone else out there have these problems?

I know exactly what you mean, Diane. Many times I only get quiet if one or 2 kids are napping... then, the second all 3 are awake at the same time it's instant screaming/screeching, "that's MINE!", etc. So I can resonate with that. But I have to say, with Logan, when Elijah's at school, Logan actually gets on my nerves a little more b/c he follows me around whining. I have to entertain him more b/c E's not here to play! So sometimes having them play together actually helps Mommy!

The only time I get an "angel child" is when Anna is sleeping and Bryson is home. She is such a handful on her own. I guess it's different for me because my kids are not close in age. When Bryson gets home from school, I get my break because they will play together, at less for a little while with out fighting.

Um, yes!!! That's one thing that helps me decide not to have a fourth: envisioning my 6 month old fighting with her younger sibling! But of course, then there's the flip side. :)
