Boston, here we come!

A couple more days and we're heading up to the Arctic, er... I mean New England. I am excited about the trip but I am not looking forward to the weather. I called Peter's dad and Donna to ask how the weather has been so I know how to pack for the girls. She said "Dress warm!" I believe she said the windchill was around 9 degrees... ? Lovely!

I am excited to see people that I haven't seen in gosh, about a year or so, some longer than that. I recently got in touch with my friend, Karen, that I went to Junior High with. The last time we saw each other was at her wedding 7 years ago. Karen, Amy and myself were like the 3 Musketeers. good times, good times.

glad you're coming our way to the arctic tundra. Hopefully we can touch base while you're here.

Hey, i noticed you have "Dan and Sarah's blog" posted as a link; are they friends of yours or just a random blog you check out? I'm asking b/c they are close friends of a friend of mine (and she has them as a link on her blog). Just wondering if you and she have them as mutual friends...

No, I don't know Dan and Sarah. I came across their blog indirectly through yours. I put a link to it on mine because I enjoyed reading it so I figured if I put a link I would remember to go there and read it.

And we'll definitely have to get together. Is Wednesday still a good day for you?

It's 38° right now... what we here in New England like to call "t-shirt weather"

hmmm. eeek. I have a conflict for Wednesday, I have another friend who I haven't seen in ages who was supposed to come over yesterday but we had rescheduled for next Wednesday instead b/c of Elijah's last-minute eye appointment. She's coming in the morning, but I could still do something in the afternoon I suppose... maybe around 3ish or something? Any ideas on that? I'm leaving for a women's retreat tomorrow afternoon for the weekend so if I don't hear from you by then I'll check email right when I get home Sunday, K?

PS... sorry about the Wed conflict, now!

PPS... I feel like such a moron when I misspell the stinking word that is needed for the "word verification" to leave a comment! What kind of idiot am I anyway???
