Children's Urgent Care and the Hospital Emergency Room liked us last week. Saturday night of Memorial Day weekend I took Kenzie to Urgent Care because she was so sick with a high fever and a horrible cough with wheezing. She wasn't sleeping or eating either for a couple days. They did a chest xray, which was negative for pneumonia (phew!) and gave her a breathing treatment. It turned out she had Bronchiolitis. We had to give her breathing treatments (the same thing we had to give Maddy after she had pneumonia).
Then.... Madison started with a little cough a couple days after that then on Thursday evening her temperature spiked to almost 103! The poor girls was just out of it. She was also wheezing. I called the nurse helpline and she recommended we take her to the Emergency Room at the hospital. So I did, and they did all the same tests and treatments as Kenzie. I think we were a little more worried about Madison since she had already had pneumonia in the past (and believe me, that is one scary thing to see your 13 month old lying in a hospital bed).
So here are some pictures of the girls duing their breathing treatments. Madison's pics are from at the hospital.
Wrapping up.
