Dog-Sitting

A few weeks ago we dog-sat for some friends for a few days. Her name is Dakota and she is part beagle and part basenji. Isn't she adorable? She was so good with the girls; not hyper or jumping around. She's pretty quiet. Basenji dogs are a non-barking dogs. how nice is that. She just howls once in awhile. She likes to sleep with someone in their bed, and I'm not just saying she'll cuddle up next to you. She uses her nose to get all the way under the covers, at the bottom of the bed and sleeps completely under the covers at your feet. Very strange.

It was a lot of fun.


But now that I had a dog for a little while I have realized they are a huge commitment and have put that desire on hold for now.
