We took a trip up to see Mark & Amy and Jarrod & Sarah in Winston-Salem, NC. We left on Thursday night at - we were on the highway by - 8:48pm. We arrived 5 1/2 laters at 2:30 am. Yikes! We stayed through Sunday morning and headed to Jeremy and Leslie Tufts' for Sunday til Monday around afternoon.
The weather was nice and the trip was great. Amy cooked us wonderful meals the whole time, and we also went to J&S's for dinner on Saturday. There were 8 kids running around (well, one couldn't quite run yet, he's only 9 months). It was a crazy night but by 8 or 9pm most of the kids were asleep. The adults went downstairs to watch Blades of Glory - HILARIOUS!
We got home on Monday at about 2pm and we all slept until 5:30pm. Yeah, were a bit tired!
