I Need Your Help!

I decided to put the girls in the same room, starting last night. I am well aware of the fact that it may take awhile for them to get used to the idea, and it may take awhile for them to fall asleep because it seems new and fun to them. But then I didn't think about the whole nap time part. They both still nap - during the week it's not that big of an issue because their school times are different. But on the weekends, like today, for instance, I put them down together at least an hour ago and now we've finally got a little quiet, BUT Kenzie is in our bedroom with Peter and Maddy is in their bedroom alone (after much screaming). I guess maybe this is what they're oing to have to do on the weekends. Does anyone have any suggestions that will make bed times and nap times any easier? Or will it just take time and patience?

Hey Diane, I am Jerry's sister, Rebecca. I have 3 girls ages--5, and 3 1/2 year old twins and they are ALL in the same room. I feel your pain. I have many different things I do...sometimes I have to sit in the hall and any little sound they make they are in trouble for it, but I need to sit there till they fall asleep. NOT the best way to spend 'nap time' for me...so, recently I have been putting one on the couch, one in the room and one in my room...that works but they don't sleep. Nights have taken time. Many nights we have to sit in the hall and "shush" them with every giggle but after a year :) I have seen improvement...so, good luck. Many times I just have to remind myself what it must be like to be trying to sleep in the same room with 2 sisters--there has to be a lot to talk, and laugh about...so, sometimes I enjoy the giggles. Then of course I regret it all when 4:30 comes around and emotional control is at an all time low.
