I'm sitting here at my aunt's house in Amesbury, MA, kinda bored at the moment; my mom is at a job interview and my aunt had to work for a couple hours. It's wet and slushy outside... gross! I had to buy the girls boots yesterday. Their "boots" got soaked yesterday in the slush because they're not really boots, they're a fashion statement. My mom felt like the fleece jackets I had for them weren't warm enough so she bought them winter coats on the way up. Good thing they were on clearance cuz they're not going to get any more use after we leave here. From what I hear it's 70 degrees in Atlanta right now.
Aunty Sue: "Di, do you think you would ever move back here?"
Me (w/no hesitation whatsoever): "No."

I don't miss the gross slush at all. I remember Anna ruining her pink shoes so I stopped buying her nice shoes last winter. It is a sunny day here in California and I am loving it. Anna has been wearing the same pair of pink shoes since the summer with no problems. I wish though I could be in MA to visit friends and family.
