3 Month Follow-up on Rib Fracture

Today was my follow-up appointment with the Pulmonologist on my fractured rib. They took an x-ray and the result is....

... it's still exaclty the same. Dr. Reyes is referring me to a pain clinic where they will probably give me a nerve blocker (an injection into the site - yikes!)

Q: What do you call someone with a fractured rib, sinus infection and an ear infection?

the Diagnosis is... (drum roll please)

...a fractured rib! Yep, after months of pain and doctors, xrays, sonograms and CT scans, that's all it is. I fractured a rib back in February or so (that's when it started hurting anyway). I am not quite sure how but my mom says it's around the time I fell down the stairs (I'm a clutz), or it happened while playing tennis. Who knows, not me. But it hurts like a you-know-what, that's for sure, and it takes forever to heal.

Here's the teeny, weeny fracture, you may have to squint and really strain your eyes to see it. It's a really thin, darker line. You can see it better on the CT scan but I don't have a copy of that.
