Wisdom Tooth Update

I had been having a lot more pain than one should after having one partially impacted wisdom tooth extracted. Peter actually said to me "I am beginning to wonder if I either don't really remember having that much pain when mine were removed, or if you really have that low of a tolerance of pain." Basically, he was saying that I am a BIG WUSS! I started thinking, "well, maybe I am. I mean, my goodness, it was only one tooth. Why am I about to throw up from the pain?"
Turns out I am not THAT big of a wimp, but that I had a dry socket. Very painful. I had to go back to the oral surgeon to have them pack gauze soaked in medication in the hole where the tooth was. I have had that done twice. That doesn't hurt though - thank goodness! I will have another one on Friday. It tastes nasty too by the way.
