Hello Blogworld

It's been awhile, hasn't it? Well, since my lasy entry, not a whole lot new has been going on. Preschool is going well; Kenzie and Maddy both love it and are doing so well. Kenzie is finally getting her colors right and learning her alphabet. I would have thought with her being the second child, and M being such a chatter-box that she would have learned quicker. Oh well, every child is different...
K is almost potty trained. As long as she is at home, she'll go on the potty all day but if we're out and about it ain't happenin'. She will, however, go at school tooWe're also working o the pacifier thing. Ugh... that is going to be soooooo difficult! I so don't want to do that.
With M we're working on her sleeping in her bed - all night. Some nights she'll go to bed no problem and some nights she'll fight for an hour saying she's scared. We started an incentive program with them. I bought reward tickets at the Dollar Store and if they both stay in their beds all night long then they get a ticket. When they reach 5 tickets then we go to the store and they get to pick something out. This sort of started because Maddy is that age now that there are things that she really wants and asks for pretty often, "an Ariel doll, sneakers that light up, and a Cinderella game." This past weekend we went to Wal-Mart and they got to pick out their toy - M's was her Ariel doll, and Kenzie picked out a barbie doll.
Well, I can't really think of much else to write and I'm pretty tired. I promise to write more (and post pics) soon.
Ciao

Hi Diane! Good idea on the incentives; that type of thing seems to work for us with the boys as well.

We got to see the Tangs last night, and Jerry, Gayle and Shawn and some others, too, at Mike and Meg's 10 year anniversary party. I thought of you guys; wished you were closer (same with the Mooneys) so you could've been there, too. Meg did a slide show and it brought back lots of memories (some of them I think I had erased from my mind on purpose I think... ha!). It was amazing to think it was a whole decade ago when they got married, and to see all 4 boys married now with 4 children total of their own is emotional in a way...

Just wanted to say HI and let you know I was thinking of ya!
